This weeks mindful practise is a simple one that can be done anywhere, it doesn’t take long and simply requires a little bit of privacy. It may be nice to do after a good walk with your beloved companion, once they’ve had a drink and a treat, and ready to also relax.
Most adults require on average 8 hours of sleep each night to recover fully and perform at their best, our beloved companions will sleep up to 6 hours more than this if you include their ‘dog’ naps during the day. As we often go through our days at 100mph, it’s easy to neglect sleep. This week, make bedtime your priority each evening.

Smiles are contagious, and a warm smile is the universal sign for kindness. The wagging tail of your beloved companion is their way of smiling and expressing joy, and their tails never stop! Some dogs even try to mimic your smile, although with all their doggy teeth it can come across a little strange. Whether they understand it or not, the fact that they try to smile shows the power a smile holds.
