We all like to know that we have helped someone, that what we have said meant something, or just being there for someone had a positive impact in some way. So today get in contact with someone who deserves a little bit of gratitude.

This message of appreciation can be sent in any form, email, text, phone call or in person. It can be sent to an old friend, teacher, family member or really anyone you think has made a difference in your life, at a particular time, or just that you appreciate them for being them.

It doesn’t have to be a long or emotional message. Just a simple thank you and the reason behind your gratitude. You’d be surprised how much this small message can mean to the person receiving it.

Something simple could just be:

  • Thank you for thinking of me.

  • Thank you for your time today.

  • I just want to say thanks for helping me with my project.

  • It was so nice to hear from you. Thank you getting in touch.

  • Thanks a lot for your help – I couldn’t have done it without you!

  • Thank you for making this such an awesome place to work!

  • Thank you for having confidence in me.

Whilst you’re at it, don’t forget your beloved companion, the amount they of joy they bring into our lives deserve thanks every day. Look at them, and feel the love you have for them, the warm, positive energy you will be giving off they will feel!
