Hygge Method Foundations Intensive Apprenticeship

The Hygge Method Foundations Intensive Apprenticeship is a six day, hands on immersion designed to launch safe and confident beginner groomers into independent practice. Apprentices work on their own client dogs from day one, learning structured start- to- finish workflow including intake communication, coat preparation, bathing, high velocity drying, guard- comb trimming, sanitary and pad work, profile shaping, and safe scissoring techniques. Throughout the intensive, students are trained to recognize canine stress signals, maintain calm table control, and apply one- on- one pacing principles rooted in the Hygge Method. Upon completion, graduates are prepared to groom cooperative dogs independently within a clearly defined scope of practice.

Who this is NOT for

This intensive is not designed for individuals seeking a hobby-level experience, causal exposure to grooming, or extended classroom- style education. It is not suited for those who are not prepared to bring their own client dogs, practice independently between sessions, or take immediate responsibility for launching their grooming work after completion. Because this is a fast-paced, hands- on immersion, it is not intended for individuals who require prolonged foundational instruction, fear handling dogs independently, or are unwilling to work within clearly defined scope and safety guidelines.
